Greene & Greene were very important American furniture designers in the Arts and Craft movement. Their pieces emphasize the aesthetic nature of structure, and were inspired by Japanese architecture. This piece is modeled after the entry table at the famous Gamble House in Pasadena.  It is built from cherry, and pegged with ebony. The drawer slides are graphite pinned with brass.

This is a 1/12th dollhouse miniature suitable for a collector, and not a children's toy.
